BEIMS is offering an annual Direct IT Support service to help manage your installation. This optional, additional service involves our friendly BEIMS Support staff taking control of the installation & configuration of software on your BEIMS application server. They can also upgrade your software as new versions are released.

Not to be confused with our standard BEIMS AM&S Support service (which has always provided software components, advice and assistance to your Local IT Department), this service enables our BEIMS Support Team to control and manage the installation and configuration of all BEIMS related software on your BEIMS server, including upgrades, new patches and activating trial licences.

The end result is a much faster and streamlined process – ensuring you have all updates, patches and new releases installed in a more timely and efficient manner.

Benefits of Direct IT Support:

Subscribing to BEIMS Direct IT Support is designed to ensure you get new releases ‘live’ as soon as possible. It can also help to free up resources within your IT department. Customers can request assistance directly from BEIMS Support who can respond promptly with installations and updates using their expertise and experience.

Typically this service does not include:

(1) Direct access to the BEIMS databases (as these are often on a common database server with many other corporate databases).

(2) Access to install software on local workstations as these are often ‘locked down’ and need Desktop Administrator rights to do this.

BEIMS Support requires remote access to your BEIMS Application server through a Virtual Private Network (VPN). They also need to be granted ‘Administrative Rights’ so that certain functions can be performed.

BEIMS Support will follow any & all local IT protocols and practises.
